Tomorrowland. In 1955 Walt Disney opened the Tomorrowland park at Disneyland in California. It was meant to be a beacon of hope for generations to come by showing how far our imaginations and ingenuity can take us. In this episode of The 602 Club host Matthew Rushing is joined by Mike Schindler and new recruit Bruce Gibson to talk about Brad Bird's Tomorrowland. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. 1950 saw the publication of one of the most beloved fantasy novels of all time, C.S. Lewis' The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe which began The Chronicles of Narnia series. Over the many years it has been adapted for television, the stage and most recently for the silver screen. Avengers: Age of Ultron. In 2012 Marvel did something with it’s heroes that had not yet been seen from either of the two major comic companies, it put its biggest superhero team on screen, together. It had one of the biggest opening weekends in box office history and is now considered a classic. The question became, “Can you ever top this?” In this episode of The 602 Club host Matthew Rushing is once again joined by Marvel enthusiasts Andi VanderKolk and Daniel Proulx to talk about Age of Ultron.
