Dune.
Since it’s release in 1964 Dune has been considered a science fiction epic that tied for the Hugo Award in 1966 and also won the inaugural Nebula Award for best novel so it is no surprise that with the success of Star Wars that this masterpiece would make it’s way to the silver screen.
In this episode of The 602 Club host Matthew Rushing is joined by Alice Baker, Megan Calcote and Norman Lao to talk about David Lynch’s Dune. We discuss the history of the future, does it makes sense to new viewers, stars galore, production, interesting themes, how we’d like to see Dune done and our ratings.
