The Martian.
The story of the book The Martian is as outlandish as the tale inside. When Andy Weir’s book was rejected from publishers, he began publishing one chapter at a time on his website, then created a Kindle version that skyrocketed to the best-seller’s list in sci-fi, leading to the rights being sold to Crown in 2013 where the book debuted at the number one spot on the New York Times Best Seller list and has now been made into a major motion picture.
In this episode of The 602 Club host Matthew Rushing is joined by Andrea Coffman and Darren Moser to talk about the film, The Martian. We discuss the book, moving from page to screen, the movie, the characters, better together and our ratings.
