The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. 1950 saw the publication of one of the most beloved fantasy novels of all time, C.S. Lewis' The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe which began The Chronicles of Narnia series. Over the many years it has been adapted for television, the stage and most recently for the silver screen.
