The Return of the King.
By the time December 2003 rolled around, The Lord of the Rings had become a world wide phenomenon all over again and the last film in the series would blow everyone away, including the critics, as well as sweeping the Oscars where it holds the record for highest Academy Awards wins with Titanic and Ben-Hur.
